Privacy Policy

Proxy Forge ("we", "our", or "us") is a tool for generating custom Magic: The Gathering proxy cards for personal, non-commercial use. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive from Google:

• Your Google account email address
• Your Google profile name
• A temporary OAuth access token used to interact with Google Drive on your behalf

When you place a print order, we additionally collect:

• Your email address (via Stripe Checkout)
• Your billing and shipping address (via Stripe Checkout)
• Your card images submitted for printing

We also store card images you generate and the collections you create in our database (Supabase), linked to your Google account identifier.

How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: Your email and profile name are used solely to identify your account and display your sign-in status.
• Collections: Your generated card images and collections are stored so you can access them across sessions.
• Google Drive (self-serve export): When you use the Export to XML feature, we use your Google OAuth token to upload card images to your own Google Drive. We only create files — we never read, modify, or delete existing files in your Drive. Your token is used only during the export session and is never stored on our servers.
• Print orders: When you place a print order, your card images are uploaded to our Google Drive for order fulfillment purposes. Your email is used to communicate order status. Your shipping address is used solely to fulfill your order.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, card expiry, or CVV on our servers — this data is handled entirely by Stripe and is governed by their privacy policy. We receive only a payment confirmation and the email and shipping address you provide at checkout.

Print Order Data

Card images you submit for printing are uploaded to our Google Drive and retained for 90 days after fulfillment, after which they are deleted. Your order record (email, shipping name, card count, and amount paid) is retained for accounting and support purposes. Your shipping address is shared with MakePlayingCards.com solely to fulfill your order and is not used for any other purpose.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share data only as follows:

• Stripe: Payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• MakePlayingCards.com: Your shipping address and card image files are shared solely to fulfill print orders you place.
• Google (Gemini API): Art prompts you write are sent to Google's API for image generation, governed by Google's terms of service.

Data Retention

• Account & collections: Retained until you delete them or request account deletion.
• Print order records: Retained for accounting and support purposes.
• Print order images on Google Drive: Deleted 90 days after fulfillment.

Cookies & Tracking

We use session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics tracking, or third-party trackers.

Acceptable Use — Proxy Cards

Proxy cards generated using Proxy Forge are intended for personal, casual, and non-tournament play only. By using our print service you confirm that the cards you order are for your own personal use and will not be sold, traded as genuine cards, or used in sanctioned tournament play. Proxy Forge is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering is property of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Children's Privacy

Proxy Forge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account, collections, and order data
• Revoke Google OAuth access at any time via your Google account settings
